Tell Congress to Oppose Medicaid Cuts

Medicaid helps millions of people across the country access health care, including reproductive health care like birth control, prenatal and postpartum care, STI screenings, cancer screenings, and maternal health services.

More than 70 million people are covered by Medicaid. Almost two-thirds of adult women enrolled in Medicaid are ages 19 to 44. More than 80% of Americans oppose cuts to the program.

Dismantling Medicaid is yet another tool in the GOP’s toolbox to prevent people from being in control of their own decisions about their bodies, lives, and futures. By attacking Medicaid, Republicans are sending a clear message: They would rather line the pockets of billionaires than protect the health and well-being of their constituents. 

We must continue to fight back and defend those who rely on Medicaid, and the majority of people in the United States who believe in affordable access to care.
