Reproductive Freedom for All Launches Spanish Newsroom, “Sala de Prensa”
Washington, DC — This week, Reproductive Freedom for All has launched “Sala de Prensa”, the Spanish version of the organization’s Newsroom page. The “Sala de Prensa” will feature statements and press resources, such as memos and guidance, fully translated into Spanish and geared to a Latina/e audience. This is part of the organization’s efforts to reach the 8 in 10 Americans who support abortion access and destigmatize abortion access and care within Spanish-speaking communities.
Reproductive Freedom for All Executive Director Yvonne Gutierrez released the following statement:
“It’s critical that we are having a conversation with all of the 8 in 10 Americans who firmly support access to abortion care—including Spanish-speaking communities. We know that when we reach out to these communities with facts and highlight the deadly consequences of Republican abortion bans, they side with us. “Sala de Prensa” provides Spanish language media with resources and research to accurately report on the dangers of abortion bans and how Trump has escalated his attacks on our rights with the goal of banning abortion nationwide.”
